Last weekend, I went to Tahoe, like every other year. I go with my family on the Huey side, along with my Auntie Mimi from my mom's side. The first day we got there, I went skiing with uncle in Soda Springs. We took skiing lessons together; I usually go snowboarding, but I wanted to try skiing that time. It was actually pretty fun, I could do everything fine, except for going slow and stopping on steep mountains. I like to go fast, and to slow down, I turn side to side. Around 2 P.M., we headed to our cabin. My cousins and his friend were already there, playing outside. I got dressed, and went to their fort. They made a huge fort, with peepholes, and made it all by hand. There was actually no shovel there. They were playing a game, throwing snowballs at cars and had a score system. Ten points for the windshield, and five just for hitting the car. One time, my cousin, William, threw a snowball at a car. The person was speeding and on his cell phone. He actually hit the windshield, and the car suddenly stopped. The person came out of the car and started yelling at my other cousin, Lauren, who was going into the cabin. She said she was walking back and didn't know us. He kept saying "fuckers" to us, it was actually pretty funny, and said his friend died from people like us in an accident. He was a very short small man. We saw everything through the peephole thingys. After that, we basically never threw snowballs at anybody else again, until two days later. We started throwing snowballs at our uncle, who was outside parking his car. A car passed by and thought we were throwing snowballs at him. He came back to talk to us saying he doesn't want us throwing snowballs at people, and we were on HIS property. We were like wtf there's no house near here. The closest house we saw was a house all the way across the forest, and a house 50 feet away. He can't actually prove it was his property. It wasn't near a house, and we were on top of a hill, which basically nobody owned.
On our second day, we went to Boreal and it wasn't that exciting. It was very slippery, and everytime I tried to get up, I would slide down. The only thing I liked about that place was that they had noodles with Alfredo sauce. Later on, we went back to the cabin. My aunt made us move out of our original room, where my sister, cousins, cousin's friend, and I were sleeping. My sister and cousins slept upstairs, and had to go on a tiny stairwell to get up. There were spiral shaped stairs, and the steps were steep, metal, and short.
